About Us

MyrtleSeniorWeek.com was started in 2013 due to the need to compile all the information for Senior Week trips to Myrtle Beach into one place. We strive to bring you the latest and up to date info regarding the parties, clubs, events, accommodations, food and other fun things to do into one place to make it easier for Seniors to plan their post-graduation trip to Myrtle Beach. Our partner sites include MyrtleBeachSeniorWeek.com and SeniorWeekBeachHouses.com.

We seek to build up this annual event to include even more students from more parts of the country, because we truly believe that Myrtle Beach is the best place to go to celebrate graduation!

About Senior Week

Senior Week in Myrtle Beach wasn't always known by that name. There aren't any accurate records, but students have been coming to Myrtle Beach at least since the 60s during their school breaks. By the 90s, it became obvious that students from the Carolina's, Virginia's, and Ohio where coming to Myrtle Beach for "Beach Week" after their high school graduation to enjoy the water, sun, sand and warm ocean breezes.

Students didn't really have anywhere to go at night, since the clubs in Myrtle Beach were all 21+. In 1999, the Gold Card was created as a pass for Seniors to go to awesome nighttime events like the Foam Party, Mardi Gras Party, and the MTV Celebrity Party.

The card grew from a few hundred students in the early years to several thousands of students getting the card every May and June. In the mid 2000s, the Concert Series was added which has brought top talents such as Jeremih, Roscoe Dash, Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Porter, New Boyz, and Lil John.

In 2012, the name of the card changed to the Gold MyrtleManiac Card, and in 2013 to just the Myrtlemaniac Card. The area were students come from has grown to include Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

We would like to spread awareness and interest of this incredible tradition to students in more states, so they too can have the time of their life at Myrtle Beach Senior Week. Our headquarters for all Senior Week event information and Myrtlemaniac Senior Week VIP Card and ticket sales is at our kiosk during every week of Senior Week in front of the Sandcastle Resort at 1802 N Ocean Blvd.
